Terms and conditions
The rules for using CARHAC, for buyers and for sellers.
Provisional text. This page was written while CARHAC was being built and will be reviewed by a lawyer before launch. Last updated: 16 August 2026.
What CARHAC is
CARHAC is a platform where buyers post a car request and verified dealers and garages can respond with an offer. We bring both sides together and provide the conversation.
CARHAC is not a party to the sale
The purchase agreement is between you and the garage. Viewing, test drive, paperwork, payment and delivery happen directly between buyer and seller. We are not a seller, not an intermediary in the payment and not a warranty provider, and we are not liable for the condition of a vehicle or for agreements being kept.
For buyers
- An account is free, and stays free
- You confirm your email address before you can post a request
- You decide how many offers you want to receive
- A request expires automatically after 30 days and can be renewed
- You are never obliged to accept an offer
For sellers
- Only businesses with a valid VAT number and proof of registration are admitted, after manual approval
- Your subscription determines how many offers you may send per month
- An offer refers to a specific vehicle from your stock, with correct price, year and mileage
- You comply with Belgian used-car law, including the Car-Pass obligation
- You can cancel monthly, effective at the end of the current billing period
Conduct on the platform
Misleading offers, inappropriate messages and attempts to move users off the platform are not allowed. Users can report each other; we may suspend accounts where that proves necessary.
Changes
We may amend these terms. For significant changes we notify you in advance at the email address on your account. Questions can be sent to info@carhac.be.
